Helen Davis

Helen is responsible for stakeholder relations and governance for Bristol City Council's portfolio of Local Authority Trading Companies (LATCos) and joint ventures. With over a decade of experience in LATCo governance and shareholder oversight, she has played a key role in the establishment, development and stewardship of a diverse range of council-owned and jointly owned entities at various stages of the corporate lifecycle.

Bristol City Council's shareholdings include Bristol Waste, a Teckal provider of waste and facilities management services; Goram Homes, a commercial housing developer; and City Leap, a strategic joint venture delivering renewable energy infrastructure across the city.

Prior to this role, Helen led Bristol City Council's Executive and Mayoral Office and held project management, business partnering and relationship management roles at the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
